​This week we delivered 3 gearboxes to a customer who has planned major maintenance on a biomass installation. The planetary gearboxes were fully assembled due to our local sub-assembly stock. All three Dinamic Oil gearboxes are different in size and/or number of stages, but all of them are foot mounted with a cylindrical output shaft with key.

The planetary gear units will be used in transport systems of a biomass installation in the agricultural sector. Due to the fast delivery of these gearboxes, the customer can easily schedule maintenance in the near future.

This may work in the short term, but reactive maintenance can actually cost a lot of money. Why not choose to do preventive maintenance for all your gearboxes and power transmission components? The power transmission market knows a wide variety of geared motors and gearboxes. One of the most popular geared motors nowadays is the bevel helical geared motor. Many applications which in the past were driven by an inline helical geared motor in combination with a coupling, chain or belt transmission are replaced by the shaft mounted bevel helical version. These 90 degrees shaft mounted geared motors have a high efficiency, a wide range of possible ratio’s and are very compact in design. 

Most conveyor belts are today equipped with a bevel helical gearbox which are mounted with a torque arm to have the unit free from external forces.

The I.Mak IRK series are available with hollow shaft diameter from 30mm up to 120mm and can be ordered with a male input shaft, direct coupled electric motor and an IEC coupled e-motor with male/female connection or with a flexible coupling.
