A screw jack converts a rotational movement into a linear movement. We supply screw jacks from the Italian brand Setec with a maximum load of 150 tons each.

Screw jacks are widely used in hoisting and lifting applications, as a single unit, but also as multiple, mechanically coupled units for larger surfaces or heavier loads. Screw jacks are also used for angular rotation of rotating parts.

Aandrijf Technisch Buro supplies screw jacks with trapezoidal screws as well as ball screws. Trapezoidal screws are often used at a lower speed, have the advantage that they are irreversible and are cheaper than ball screws which are suitable for higher speed and high accuracies.
