Planetary winch drives for Noise Mitigation System (NMS)

Aandrijf Technisch Buro is proud to supply 12 planetary winch gearboxes, type WD-16004 with a maximum output torque of 317.000Nm. These beautiful gearboxes will be placed inside the drum of handling winches with a lifting capacity of 22,5 tons.
The hydraulically driven winches will be used on a Noise Mitigation System (NMS) which is used to reduce noise during offshore pile driving. The NMS system is placed on a Motion Compensated Pile Gripper (MCPG), which is placed on a floating vessel for the installation of monopiles to install offshore windmills.
