A spud pole is a steel pole that moves up and down through a vessel or pontoon, to create the option that the floating system is secured to the bottom of the water. There are different kinds of poles on the market, a very popular one is the telescopic spud pole.

Whether it concerns standard or telescopic spud pole systems, most manufacturers choose a chain driven system of which the sprocket is driven by a planetary gearbox, due to its compact design and high torque. If you need the gearbox to be inline or with bevel input stage, with or without brake and hydraulically or electrically driven, we are the right partner.
