Huge wormgearbox for hangar door

Recently we supplied a wormgearbox, size 250 with helical pre-stage, torque limiter and brake motor. 

This drivetrain was completely engineered by us and will be used to open/close a hangar door on a vessel. The combination of the wormgearbox with helical pre-stage creates an irreversible transmission with a high ratio for low output speed. Between the 15kW brake motor and gearbox we placed a torque limiter with proximity switch for safety reasons when the hangar door will be blocked.

The whole set was sandblasted and painted in an offshore coating.
