Yellow crane package
Recently, we delivered a beautiful set of yellow planetary (winch) gearboxes. All 12 gearboxes will be installed in one special crane which is going to be used in the wind industry.
We are very proud to have been awarded as gearbox supplier, for this unique crane design. The scope of supply for this project includes:
- 3 slewing drives designed with a custom output support and integrated pinion module 20, with a dynamic peak torque of 56.000Nm and input for electric motor.
- 5 compact planetary gearboxes with pinions module 12, providing a dynamic peak torque of 9.500Nm which are driving one ring gear inside the big drum of the winch.
- 4 winch drives with a special bevel input stage featuring a dynamic peak torque of 63.000Nm which are mounted as pairs in one winch drum.
All gearboxes are equipped with a high quality offshore coating (C5M) for the challenging offshore environments. Additionally, material certificates for the gearing and pinions, including hardness reports, were provided to meet the high requirements of our customer.
