Cardan shaftsThe cardan shafts and universal joints supplied by Aandrijf Technisch Buro are manufactured from high-quality materials and A-brand bearings. The shafts are automatically welded, directly checked and dynamically balanced.
Cardan shafts are often used to connect shafts with angular or laterale misalignment. Sometimes the distance to be bridged is short, so that a universal joint will suffice, but for long distances, such as with gantry cranes, drive shafts in combination with cardan shafts or universal joints are used. |

Characteristics of cardan shafts
- Rated torque of 200 Nm to 190,000 Nm with peak torque of 260,000 Nm
- Version including extra large angle deviation, length compensation and profile protection
- Flanges available according to DIN, SAE or KV/XS with toothing
- Can optionally be combined with drive shafts for larger distances
