Great to see you’ve scanned the QR code! We’d like to give you a bit more background information about our end-of-year gift. At Aandrijf Technisch Buro, we truly appreciate your trust and the cooperation over the past year. To show our appreciation, we’re proud to present the GearBeerBox: three characterful craft beers from Brouwerij Puuro, an traditional brewery from our hometown Venlo in the province of Limburg.
What’s inside the GearBeerBox?
We’ve put together a selection of beers that (even without any background knowledge) stand on their own as excellent craft brews. However, we also enjoy sharing a piece of our local culture with you. Each beer carries a name rooted in Venlo’s carnival traditions. During carnival (known locally as Vastelaovend), humorous expressions and dialect words are part of our culture and the brewery has proudly incorporated some of them into these beers.
Döbbelgenger – Dubbel (6,0%)
A classic Belgian-style double beer with warm caramel tones and subtle spiciness. The name playfully refers to a “doppelgänger” and reflects the creative and often humorous dual wordplay typical during carnival.
Ome Wilie öet Brazilië – Barley Wine (10%)
A rich and powerful barley wine with deep flavours of dark fruit, coffee and chocolate. The name is a humorous reference to a fictional “Uncle Willie from Brazil”, a typical story that Venlo’s carnival culture is known for.
Sjiengele Boem – Blond (7,2%)
A fresh blond beer with a mild bitterness and notes of orange peel and coriander. The name “Sjiengele Boem” is a cheerful Venlo carnival expression — not directly translatable, but it’s used to convey energy, fun and liveliness.

The GearBeerBox is our way of saying thank you for working with us in 2025 — a blend of Venlo craftsmanship, culture and a touch of humour. Carefully selected to share quality, character and a bit of Limburg cosiness with you. We look forward to new projects and strong results in 2026, and we’re happy to raise a glass to what lies ahead.
